ha, those 200 songs. peter godwin and b-movie- i dont think i ever heard those songs anywhere other than lir, but heard em enough to still be able to sing the choruses.

It's strange... looking at just the top 20 seemed sort of banal.
I clicked over to the link of the top 200, and the sheer volume of songs that I hadn't thought about in years, and that were important once, made me feel quite sentimental. I grew up a lot during the '80s, and songs significant to all of those phases were amply represented on the list.
(Here, I voted for "Don't You," not because it's great, but because it best exemplified my mood now and my attitude towards this era.)
