yeah my parents convinced me to get cupping done - I have some chronic upper back pain from being bent over at the computer desk/studying etc.

dunno if I'll feel better or not but it's interesting cuz the darkest spots correspond with the areas where I feel pain the most

haha I should clarify. feel pain the most = in the past. the actual treatment doesn't hurt beyond the 5 or so minutes the cupping is done. after that it's just like you received 100 hickies without any of the fun.

See I cant get with the idea that deliberately bruising oneself has ANY possible health benefits, but thats just me.

i just talked about cupping therapy w/ my ex (who's chinese) and he told me his mother did something along those lines to him when he was younger to help ward off the effects of heat exhaustion. he said it worked every time!

hmm I will give those a try but I will wait and see how this cupping therapy works out cause I want to do this all scientifically yaknow
