In the last few years Texarkana has developed very quickly, and a vast array of new stores and services have been popping up. Yet is still behind in times and lacks entertainment for the youth of the area. The youth commonly describe the only things to do in town are drink and, well use your imagination.

what the hell

from wikipedia:

According to a 2009 interview, Snoop Dogg assisted The D.O.C. in seeking a voice therapist. It was found that The D.O.C.'s vocal cords are not irreparably severed or crushed, and that his voice could still be surgically restored by up to 70%. As such, LA-Based Publicist, Idalyze Nasiha Rose, has assisted him in finding a surgeon who will repair his vocal cords. The D.O.C. is currently undergoing final tests before the surgery takes place, which may or may not be televised.

Guttenberg has starred in three film franchises: Police Academy, Cocoon, and Three Men and a Baby. He has also appeared in such renowned films as Diner, The Bedroom Window, The Boys from Brazil, and Short Circuit. Guttenberg recently revealed on his Facebook site that Short Circuit was in fact an allegory for the Russian Revolution of 1917.[4] Although Guttenberg is known as a film actor, his roots are in the theater. His first film as director/producer/co-screenwriter/star was the adaptation of a Broadway hit, the stage comedy/drama P.S. Your Cat Is Dead (2002) by James Kirkwood Jr., co-author of A Chorus Line. Guttenberg also starred in the Cinderella pantomime at Churchill Theatre in Bromley, playing the Baron (father of Cinderella) in 2008.

SleeperX is a four-piece experimental metal band from Perth, Western Australia.

...

Though active in the Australian metal scene, the band's penchant for noise-making, irreverent live performances (including the practice of Freemasonic rituals onstage) and unconventional instrumentation has earned them a reputation for innovation and spontaneity within avant-garde musical circles.

Additionally, lead singer, James Crossglans, is renowned in the local scene for the noticeable erections he gets on stage.

The band is currently in pre-production for its debut full length album, The Long March

Today Pioneer Chicken operates in China under the name "California Chicken" because the Chinese there tend to pronounce "Pioneer" in a way which is socially undesirable in Chinese society.[citation needed] The pronunciation of "Pioneer Chicken" is similar to the word for prostitution.

He was born in Dourados, Brazil, the son of Operário Futebol Clube footballer Adir Carneiro and Alzira Rosa de Souza. His name was chosen by his father, as a tribute to rock musician Jim Morrison from The Doors, and an admiration for the letter K.[3] Keirrison and his father bought a football club from Campo Grande, Mato Grosso do Sul state in April 2008, and renamed it to Centro de Futebol Keirrison, shortened as CFK9.[29]

In 2009, it was revealed that Run-D.M.C featured in a Michael Jackson song called "Crack Kills". The song was supposed to be on Jackson's 1987 album, Bad, but it was shelved due to the groups' negative attitude towards the singer and also because Bubbles bit Jam Master Jay[citation needed].

In Atlanta there are over one hundred active gangs in Georgia, but the most known gangs and the top most feared gangs are these gangs right here; 18thStreet, Black Gangster Disciples, Bloods, Crips, Brown Side Locos, Gangster Disciples, La Gran Familia, Latin Kings, La Raza, Los Zetas, Maltido’s 13, Mara Salvatrucha, Nortenos, Skinheads, Five Percenters, and the Aryan Brotherhood. Within in the major gangs such as the Bloods, Crips, and MS-13 there are many different “sets”.[3] Most of these gangs are from Atlanta, but there are many gangs that are found all over Georgia. Some of the gangs that I mentioned are not just Georgia gangs, but they are nation wide, for example the Bloods and the Crips were founded in California and have spread all across the United States and now they are the two largest and most well known gangs across the United States.[4] Organized gangs are not just found in the streets, but they are found in Jail too. The major gangs that are known in Prison are these; Crips, Bloods, Black Gangster Disciples, Skinheads, Aryan Brotherhood, Five Percenters, and the MS-13.

Badham had worked for television for years before his breakthrough in 1977 with Saturday Night Fever. Starring John Travolta and Fran Drescher, the film is recognized as the most representational of the 1970s disco era.

I guess it kinda makes sense, as Fran Drescher is (besides Travolta) pretty much the only actor in SNF who's still well known today.

Yeah, see, "starring" doesn't involve determining who might be famous X number of years down the road. If someone is in a movie for all of 30 seconds, "starring" doesn't enter into the discussion.
