it has about three or four very good songs. and the rest is a mess. i can't work out whether it's an appealing mess or not.

weren't FNM always bigger in europe anyway? I'm not too surprised that they mainly only played biggish european shows.

I do too but I'm grouchy about Lollapalooza and their stupid 100 mi clause (or w/e it was called) because that means I am going to have to travel to see them because I sure don't want to go to gross Lollapalooza.

I told myself I'd buy a Lolla ticket for the day if they were on the same day as Black Sabbath. They are, so I go tone. Also Black Keys, Black Angels and Tame Impala.

They already have other gigs booked in America - one of the first two announced in the reunion was American. I'm sure they'll play a proper NA tour once they've run out of festivals around the world.

They're playing one of their only club shows on the tour so far a whopping 12 minutes walk from my bedroom, such a pain in the balls that'll be :D

kid on drums seemed SO HYPED to be there, good times

saw them twice this year and they're probably two of the best shows i've seen. a real joy to witness a band this tight.
