This made me laugh, from Paul Hanley's book about Hex:
Once immigration had half-heartedly inspected the contents of our battered and frankly unimpressive luggage, the first thing we saw was a sign held against the glass that separated the immigration department from the outside world. It contained just two words: ‘Buy Beer’. It was held there by Einar Örn, a local musician and the ‘first punk in Iceland’ who had discovered The Fall via the car radio.
