A French tickler is a latex condom that is designed with additional protrusions, for enhancing the sexual pleasure of the user.
A typical French Tickler uses a number of bumps, crests and falls in the lining of the latex ostensibly to make sexual intercourse more enjoyable or pleasurable for the recipient. They may also have hair-like protrusions.

from the entry on George Selden (author of Cricket in Times Square)

In 1974, under the pseudonym of Terry Andrews, Selden wrote the novel The Story of Harold, the story of a bisexual children's book author's various affairs, friendships, and mentoring of a lonely child. The book is very descriptive of a time and a culture in Western homosexual practices. Extreme scenes of sado-masochism, orgies and other very shocking material, to some. It is also autobiographical in the sense the author writes of a character who writes Children's books and yet leads this Gay lifestyle that most would find of ill repute even today. The relationship to the boy and also the author own feelings regarding his own existence are the main keys in this novel.

Derek Bentley had a very difficult upbringing. In April 1938, he apparently fell 15 feet from a lorry and hit his head on the pavement, which caused his Epilepsy. During World War II, the house Bentley lived in as a child was bombed and collapsed around him, leaving Bentley with serious head injuries and concussed. :(

Lambert's apparent credulity about the talking mongoose led Sir Cecil Levita to criticise him, suggesting that he was unfit to serve on the board of the British Film Institute, of which Lambert was a one of the founders and a prominent governor in the 1930s. Levita said that Lambert was "off his head" because he had believed in the talking mongoose and the evil eye. Lambert sued Levita for slander.

The summaries of episodes for the TV show Intervention mostly read like this:

From an early age, Anthony's father made him feel worthless. His parents divorced and his mother remarried, but she was still unhappy and turned to alcohol and drugs. ... Another blow came when Anthony's younger brother died of leukemia. Anthony spiraled downward and now he drinks half a gallon of vodka a day and takes whatever drugs he can find.

But then:

Kristen is a 20+ year old who shoots heroin and cocaine. She prostitutes herself in the streets of Baltimore to get high. She shoots up in her neck, straight hoodrat

Mimsie, the kitten in the MTM logo at the end of each episode, is wearing a scrub suit and a surgical mask, which is animated to look like a mouth is moving underneath when he meows. In the final episode of the series, he is hooked on life support on a hospital bed and then dies. This was meant to symbolize the end of the series. In a twist of sad irony, the actual cat that was used for the logo had also died around the same time as St. Elsewhere's ending.

These early conceptualizations of both kinds of hysteria carried notions of women's deficiency due to penis envy and feelings of castration. Sigmund Freud, has largely been discredited by other professionals in the psychology field. This is a very outdated theory that should be given very little or any credence. Paul Chodoff has written about the ways in which these diagnoses paralleled the misogynistic sentiment of the times.

Bummer for you, Sigmund. Little or any credence. :-(

A Spanish dub of the film keeps the acronym S.O.B., claiming that it stands for "Sois hOnrados Bandidos" (You Are Honest Crooks). Notice that the second word begins with a mute H, not with an O. The Argentine title for the movie was changed to Se acabó el mundo (The World is Ended), having no relation to the original title.

Bondi Beach: New Years Eve '06 is a studio album by Fatboy Slim. It was recorded before he played at Bondi Beach, in Sydney, Australia. It contains tracks that he later went on to play in his live set at Bondi Beach. The title is often mistakenly written without the apostrophe in front of the "06". However, the album art indicates that the correct spelling contains the apostrophe.

The D.O.C. is currently undergoing final tests before the surgery takes place, which may or may not be televised.

Guttenberg has starred in three film franchises: Police Academy, Cocoon, and Three Men and a Baby. He has also appeared in such renowned films as Diner, The Bedroom Window, The Boys from Brazil, and Short Circuit. Guttenberg recently revealed on his Facebook site that Short Circuit was in fact an allegory for the Russian Revolution of 1917.[4] Although Guttenberg is known as a film actor, his roots are in the theater. His first film as director/producer/co-screenwriter/star was the adaptation of a Broadway hit, the stage comedy/drama P.S. Your Cat Is Dead (2002) by James Kirkwood Jr., co-author of A Chorus Line. Guttenberg also starred in the Cinderella pantomime at Churchill Theatre in Bromley, playing the Baron (father of Cinderella) in 2008.
