Section of North Avenue to be renamed "Ray Lewis Way"

The intersection of North Avenue and Broadway in East Baltimore will be renamed “Ray Lewis Way.” The site is home to the Diakon Center, where Lewis and his charitable foundation host an annual Thanksgiving food giveaway for nearly 1,000 Baltimore families in need.

he's kinda sad to me, like he's searching for something he'll never find. i had a slightly uncomfortable encounter with him at a bar once, but just in a social way. he seems harmless. i don't think he embodies anything greater to me than the fact that some weird people live around here too. i'd say he's damaged somehow, but i think that about most people to one extent or another so...
