It's not a lie. This board has been set up so you can post images by putting an "i" in front of a link to an image.

Maybe someone else can explain it better, because I don't understand the technical side of it.

But there's no way you will be able to link directly to something in your "My Documents" file. The image file has to be up on a server.

Okay, here is an example. Here's a link, right:

Now, if you put an i in front of that url, you get the image itself (unless it's too large):
