this all depends on the consistency of the poop itself surely
like if you’ve got a nice, well-formed type 3 on the Bristol stool chart loaded and ready to go then hell yeah you get out of the shower and onto the pot
on the other hand if you’re anticipating a type 7 rusty-water-firehose situation then maybe the convenience of just letting go right there in the hot water is acceptable
