bookmarks are annoying to have at the top of the screen though. i really wish keith or whoever would just code that thing where it loads 100 messages from the last read post and then has "click for next page" afterwards

you click bookmark on the last post, and then when the thread gets updated, a link appears at the top of the window

"Shutterbug" is great, and good job by Scott Storch on that beat. But is it REALLY that different in style from the Organized Noise stuff? I don't really hear it being this giant leap, it sounds like it's right in line with the music OutKast has been making this last decade. Also, feels a little TOO techno for any Quik nods.

Just read your article on Drake, Jord. Great shit, and I agree... I like Drake most as an R&B artist. He writes great melodies and is much more convincing that way. I feel that Thank Me Later is going to be this thing where we're going to have to wade through the rap songs to get to the R&B.

I don't think he's a bad rapper, and I actually like him as a rapper, but this punchline business he fails at.

I think that's dead-on. Yes, definitely, which is the case with other rappers too. Jay'll drop a whack line on the Blueprint ("I bounce back like round ball") and then hit you with four or five dope lines after that.

Drake being better at R&B than rap is a good knock to use against him but tbh I don't see his brilliance even in that dept., there were like 50 hits last year that were better R&B songs than "Best I Ever Had," and his Songz mimicry as a singer is as transparent and distracting as his Wayne mimicry as a rapper.

although i will say i haven't heard his song w/ the-dream yet -- i remember when it first leaked it was like a demo or uncomplete and i hate these 'new music cartel' type fucks yoinking unfinished songs out of studio hard drives on principle but lemme know if the actual song is out now

Yeah, I remember that song. I just never saw the similarities vocally, and I think Drake writes much better (and memorable) melodies.
