a guy posts that he just found out that the clitoris is shaped like a wishbone and not like a button. do you:

Guys I was mostly joking about modding ILTMI however if a new mod is ever sought for such a thing I would gladly volunteer my services.

yeah, this kinda shit is why i banned kate from iltmi -- which originally was my idea and tuomas's as well -- and got permanently deleted as a mod from said board lol

FWIW as the "do nothing" member of site mods I think there is nowhere where a policy of extreme inaction benefits more than ILTMI. People offend and disgust me all the time on that board, but that means there is a corner of the world where it is OK to offend & disgust people. If there is room for shitting dick nipples, surely there can be room for opinions of equal vexation, so long as they are not set out to willfully and malignantly abuse another person (it's ok talk about disgusting dicks but don't be a disgusting dick). If ILTMI is not a place where this can happen, the inexhaustibly foolhardy transaction of insaniacked and deviant ideas (along with the kinder and sexier ones), I don't know ehere is. This kinda makes me sad.

You're all right that ILTMI should be freely-spoken and lightly-modded, but what I am saying is that personal circumstances REALLY ought to be taken into consideration when dealing with this. I strongly believe the issue should be dropped until (if) it reoccurs. Ordinarily I'd agree (and, yes, Kate's been known to get tetchy before), but such has been the apocalyptic well of doom she's evinced, and such has been her cycle of self-destructive, manic-depressive messageboard-stirring of late (not just ILX) that I think she should just be tolerated for a few days. But I am callow, and maybe someone else has a better, more informed idea?

dude no offense but frankly making this into some psychoanalysis of kate is totally weird and not ok, esp since she is not here to say anything in her defense (despite the fact that you seem sympathetic). again, this is not about her as a person, this is about policy re: that particular board. please leave it at that unless this is info that she agrees with and/or wants to include in the discussion.

1. ENBB would, without doubt, be a great iltmi mod.
2. A anti-Kate pile-on* seems cruel and this thread should have been locked a while ago but
3. A discussion of modding rights/responsibilities, board ownership laws in general is probably a good idea. But maybe not now when people seem quite so het up over a couple of specific issues.
