finally saw 'ichi the killer' last night. I can see why maybe the Karera Musication soundtrack doesn't work on it's own, but in the context of the film, absolutely fantastic.

(wasn't my favorite miike film overall but still worth seeing).

oh btw gygax, have you heard the July 2002 Brighton show? Probably the best boot, as far as sound quality, I've heard. They play the same piece they did at ATP.

i like it a lot, it's not new tho (from 94-5 i think?)
the minga side really is just a baby making sounds, lovely sounds, with voice and a synth. the eye side also features shinro ohtake.
