yeah, I don't recall. I've spent a lot more time with Blowout Comb. Reachin' started to feel like silly cosmic PM Dawn vibes to me after a while.

Wakin' up, prayin' there's a game on, maybe it's the Runnin' Rebs, maybe it's the Knicks, maybe it's a rerun of an old TV show, like Hawaii Five-O, or karate flicks.

PM Dawn was my favorite band before Digable Planets became my favorite band.

You know, I don't like reading interviews that are like writing/quote/writing/quote etc. I'd much rather read a straight-up question & answer thing. But after doing that little interview with the B4d P1us I've got a lot more sympathy for it (and more respect for shit like the AV Club)...like 2/3rds of the answers weren't really interesting or usable, and I had no choice but to do the first format to pad it out.

I've never been to Old Town School! I've always wanted to, but the majority of the artists that get booked there are snoozy folk/alt-country types.

I haven't either, but Kid saw H0t 8 there and said it was small and cool.

Apparently the acoustics are great.

last night was a pretty good show, hipshakes kinda lost the trail in the middle of their set and i was PSYCHED to see them but.... eh. i hadn't seen the krunchies in ages and they were fucking great. cocohomos debuted a new song last night and it was great. i'm happy they keep getting better. new album is killer, get one while you can 'cause that fuckers gonna go oop.

Interesting! It's been awhile but I remember playing jazz in a couple of super dry rooms and feeling the same way.

i just like them because they're friendly, not condescending, and commuter-oriented. the guys at rapid transit have a reputation for being not the nicest (bike mechanic syndrome), yojimbo's garage is for the hardcore only, on the route i know nothing about, most of yr other stores are for ppl buying road bikes they never actually intend to ride
