Netflix Streaming Film Recommendations: Because You Can't Always Play With Yourself

For whoever it was that enjoyed the Seijun Suzuki films, like Branded to Kill or Tokyo Drifter, I highly recommend the slightly less well known Pale Flower (dir. Masashiro Shinoda), which is also available for streaming. It's a slightly more coherent, but equally stylized Yakuza film.

Holy crap, they added a lot of Fox TV shows today. All of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, Arrested Development, 24, Prison Break, Dollhouse, Firefly, X-Files. Also, Black Adder.

anyone using wii for streaming? thinking about doing this in my studio mostly as a way to listen to shows while painting. wii seems perfect for this since i wont care if it looks terrible.

Does anybody remember the name of that documentary about movie lovers in NYC who spend all their time going from theater to theater all day trying to see everything - probably came out 5-7 years ago?

Your Queue, New Releases and New Choices to Watch Instantly are good. If you're not checking your reader daily though, it might be too much to sort through since new stuff gets added every day or so.

Also I love that the dude who is tracking all the Criterion releases is also tracking all the Troma movies.

Netflix on the ipad is pretty sweet.

wii disc is out.

Weird, I've had mine for a couple of weeks now. Haven't tried, it and don't really plan too. I can already stream netflix through my TV and DVD player. I just got it to have.

it's okay. a little tricky to control with the wii remote.

I watched an ep of (lol) "walking with dinosaurs" and the video quality wasn't great.

Oh my god. Archer is REALLY funny.

I was complaining a little while ago about how you couldn't tell if stuff was HD streaming on your PC/Mac before through the web interface. I just realized recently that's because it WASN'T streaming in HD at all until last week:

Selection is really limited though in comparison to what you can get on HD on your TV/video game system/BR player, though.
