nice work Vic! I'll see if I can find it at the shop, but they tend not to get 2000AD on any kind of timely schedule, AFAIK.

Mutopia? I just grabbed a copy. Haven't read it yet, but it looks cool!

Woah!

I greatly enjoyed the story about Judge Dredd's new suit, it seemed very oldschool but without being up its arse in retroaction. However, I lack the discipline to buy 2000AD every week.

Also, the Mutopia story starts in issue 1611 - was there a oneshot you did in 1610? (I couldn't get that issue!)

nine years pass...

I guess I'm unusual as a Brit of my age in that I never read or enjoyed 2000AD during its 80s heyday, apart from a few characters - DR & Quinch, Zenith, Halo Jones.

The documentary was fun, though - any recommendations for strips (new or old) that might stand up if you Weren't There At The Time?

(The documentary is pretty awful but a useful historical record of Pat Mills being Pat Mills.)

I really loved Shakara, that comic has some serious style and is really under-rated.

Zombo is really fun too.

Slaine is one of my favorites that I found when I started reading comics 10 years ago that I only barely knew about when I was reading in the 80s.
