also, window seat isnt at all bad, but it does sound like she can barely be bothered with it. i get the impression she doesnt mind too much which seat she gets.

gotta second stevie. album is amazing, she is a genius &c &c. my notes for one song just say "couldn't write anything, song too gorgeous".

she wore some very strange baby blue capri pants, stiletto boots which looked like doc martens and a top hat, btw.

also, when asked when the thing would be released, she looked genuinely baffled and said something like, "i don't know, don't y'all have the internet now?"

i have only heard the song on that's on her home page and "window seat"

i think they are good, but i really dug the awesome, weird messed up p-funk meets dilla type more hard hitting groove songs on the first new amerykah

are there more uptempo or midtempo ones? cuz the two i've heard are good but definitely meeeeelllooooow

its a pretty mellow set, all told. she said that this is her left-side-of-brain album, more emotional, less political. its no less awesome though.

I'm putting myself in the mindset that I can enjoy this album a lot even if it doesn't come with the raw like "The Cell" or "Twinkle."
