Wu Tang Clan: C/D?

36 Chambers is great. Forever is great. Iron Flag is great. The W is mostly great. 8 Diagrams is mostly crap great.

They are all great. Even 8 Diagrams (although it is the least great.)

I like to pretend 8 Diagrams doesn't exist.

personally, I like to listen to it

8 Diagrams is great if you need music to play while you discuss something illegal that you want nobody else to hear but not to actually listen to.

so i'm having fun listening to wu massacre. annoying lack of ghostface, who seems to have just grudgingly dropped of a leftover solo track and a few verses, but the production is nice enough, decidedly upbeat throughout. the rza produced track is the most blatanly dilla-aping beat he's ever made (and is very good), and the rest is good but i suppose too familiar to really excite.

The writer explains in the article that despite his best efforts he didn't managed to get an interview with him.

The U-God one was a bit sad, with his efforts to do a record with Ghost and his acting dreams and all... Kinda like a rap version The Story of Anvil or something.
