maybe like with the browz i got this odd grisly fascination with what passes for nyc/harlem club shit these days, it's such a weird and inadequate locus of sentiment or whatever whatever. that red face 'i'm ill' is interestingly bad too.
THE WORST though is that ted smooth dj guy who puts up all the offensively substandard fake crooklyn clan blends like the dirty money 'love come down' one that actually has tracey lee back from the dead on it lol wtf

haha 'red face' was meant to be red cafe, probably still a better name for him though

i know this is NAGL on the swag thread
but i'm digging the new Dessa.

btw the last DJ Khaled album finally broke me of all desire or ability to listen to his shits and fish out the one or two certified bangers, anyone else dare to do the dirty work with the new one?

man... that album is so ripe for a liveblog -- don't hold me to this, but if i'm not doing anything tonight i'm gonna go extremely hard on a six pack of dos equis and a liveblog of the dj khaled album. i will go in.

i like this a lot -- this guy supa villain has produced a ton of the tracks on the past few rich boy albums but this is the first thing i've seen as him as a rapper -- he has that deep southern voice but it's kinda wispy and he raps super fast & so he kinda sounds like trae -- beat is some super trancey, e'd up "haterz everywhere" ish
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CKPCZ5wN6mo&feature=player_embedded
he's apparently putting out a mixtape soon called antwan swisher

& by rich boy "albums" i mean ziptapes
this is cool too -- bleepy club track that sample super mario sounds, also features rich boy

supa villain track is nice, he could really lose some weight tho
― Deuce Bigalow: Male Juggalo (M@tt He1ges0n), Monday, 15 March 2010 22:40 (fourteen years ago) link
u wouldn't say he's svelte, that's for fucking sure. u remember i thought for a sec that bleep bloopy "go crazy" track might be him, tho yelawolf clearly says something to the effect of "it's a jim jonsin beat" on it, d'oh. funnily enough supa villian was working with trae a few months back (saw them going back and forth on twitter with supa in htown asking for directions lol). i play some of the richboy ziptape joints from time to time, "put me in the game" was in rotation when that last batch of new of rich boy dropped. "i slept on cam' couch / what up to dipset baby!" hahaha

so my friend sent me a link to a track by Ski Beatz Ft Jean Grae,Jay Electronica,Joell Ortiz & Mos Def offa ski beats' upcoming mixtape, and he quoted a line from it, from M@t's mans Ortiz: "I came up in the gutter/You came up like all the Huxtables". & here's ST 2 Lettaz on G-Side's "My Aura" last year: "hustler, live life colorful / bitch i'm from the gutter we ain't come up like the huxtables". so a direct bite, except now it's lame sub-8 Mile battle rap. well done that guy.
the track is otherwise just unsurprising btw. good to hear jean grae again. anyone give a shit about her upcoming Cake or Death album?

wiz khalifa and yelawolf are playing here in a couple days -- have never really listened to the former but i guess this might be a decent show to check out y/n

yeah tbh i can't imagine either of these guys being a huge draw in baltimore, at least for the size of the room they're playing

i'm thinking the jump to another label was probably primarily motivated by a desire to go somewhere that would actually drop the album sometime soon
