My car's GPS says bagel the way Britta does (we have it set on the British accent voice and one day we set the destination as "Ein-steeeen Bross Bag-els")

Even if ABC hadn't just cancelled Better off Ted, that episode would have finally settled it as to which was the best comedy currently on US TV.
in britain its pronounced bygule

not surprised about Better Off Ted but still bummed to hear :(
― some dude, Saturday, 6 March 2010 02:05 (fourteen years ago) link
I'm not sure if it has officially been cancelled but most of the actors seem to be working on other things. However, given how bad ABC at scheduling and promoting things it would surprise me if any announcement has slipped completely under the radar.

total bliss watching this show

― shite new answers (cutty), Saturday, 6 March 2010 02:48 (fourteen years ago) link
even though you want them to keep this show tight and not drag on forever in a way i wouldn't mind it because it's got that thing where i have a new favorite character every week, and those shows are very rare
― sonderangerbot, Saturday, 6 March 2010 02:50 (fourteen years ago) link
yeah, this show is pretty unfuckable with atm

wasn't he playing the manager in burger king commercials in like 2003?
― Ballistic, Saturday, 6 March 2010 03:15 (fourteen years ago) link
yep
― Nhex, Saturday, 6 March 2010 03:18 (fourteen years ago) link
2003 is completely irrelevant, in 2003 i was sitting down to get a mediocre grade in the ap us governmnent exam and now i'm here on the internet to tell you that community owns even when it is really cheesy and you can see all the parts being fitted together
― A B C, Saturday, 6 March 2010 03:19 (fourteen years ago) link
that wasn't meant as a dis, I was seriously asking. He actually was really funny in those. next time I saw him was Spiderman 2, don't watch The Soup tho...
― Ballistic, Saturday, 6 March 2010 03:20 (fourteen years ago) link
the soup is very special. mostly really stupid, but awesome fun. though their skits are the worst part. Choosing random reality TV bits, repeating them until they become their own religion and even then having the source come in and take part in the joke is always good. I mean, spaghetti cat was pretty good, but Chicken Tetrazzini was really special.
― dan selzer, Saturday, 6 March 2010 03:28 (fourteen years ago) link
hahaha. Leonard is this show's Creed.
"Touche."
Also, Joel McHale was in the pilot for the American version of 'The IT Crowd,' right?

What is the origin of "you magnificent son of a bitch?" I feel like I've been hearing that phrase forever as a semi-reference.
This is from Patton, Patton says it about Rommel.

― Your body is a spiderland (polyphonic), Saturday, 13 March 2010 23:32 (fourteen years ago) link
Laughed so hard at that scene... so many layers of funny. Troy peaking and cringing, main guy and hot chick coming in, britta being spanked!
