Just found a copy of tha Nightingales EP with "Son of God's Mate"
and "Which Hi-Fi?" on it. Definitely their best work, and goes nicely
with my treasured vinyl copies of their first two albums.
On a slightly related tack, anyone remember Yeah Yeah Noh? (Yes, I
know they weren't on Cherry Red!) I was surprised to see that there's
a CD compilation of their stuff available now. I saw it in Sister
Ray. I do't have title, label etc details, but no doubt this info is
out there somewhere. Cue DJ Martian!
