Perhaps there's a really good reason I hate beer. Like, I'm drinking the wrong stuff?

Top Tip Drinkers: Don't mix white wine and powerful decongestant tablets unless you want think you have been chucked out of a bar and wake up the next morning unable to perform simple tasks like having a shower without having to lie on the bathroom floor for several minutes first.

Posh Lager: Kronenbourg; Grolsch; Budvar; Staropramen.
Stella guarantees a hangover, Kronenburg almost always does.

Plus: London Pride, in pubs that serve it. Rubbish overpriced lager, at gigs. Light ale for the price and the Smiths. In cans, Miller - why is it better value than comparable lagers?
I never found out whether Steady Mike forgave me for filling his fridge with Hoffmeister and 'Ship Ale' that time.

In Scotland Tennents 70 shilling or Belhaven Best, not that they're the best of course.

I haven't been out of the house in 9 days (and I've been on chlorpheniramine maleate) - I can't actually remember what beer tastes like. I think Sam Smith's OB tops my chart since I moved to London (before that it was Hoegaarden - 99p bottles from Tesco).

The bubbles in a glass of beer exhibit a kind of reverse gravity; they accelerate as they ascend

Probably the Lidl weissbier if I'm at home. Guinness in a pub.
