yeh i got the EP on the strength of krazy world. it's excellent NY headbusting shit but not as singular as u might expect. he loses that out the side of the mouth flow coming aggie.

I should give that another listen. when it came out I was too burnt out on MF and thought there were too many tracks that were just Monster Island Czars and no Doom.

Doom's music has always been murky, his samples dusty from all those crates, his voice gruff, his raps torrential bursts of elliptical wordplay too dense and jerkily delivered to be described as "flow", but it's not as forbidding as the metal face suggests. People, he says, miss the humour in his work, and the delight in mischief-making. A couple of years ago, he allegedly sent "fake" Dooms to perform on his behalf at gigs. Even the hardcore faithful were incensed, when really it was an inspired device designed to subvert the notion of rap ego.

Okay I'm confused is he dead or not because the comments seem to indicate that he's not and also they waited two months to tell us if so?

Some of the comments are saying that his wife died and he is just now posting a letter she gave him before she passed, but it’s all very confusing.

If his wife died, why would he accompany the letter with a photo of himself?
