DC game I should probably be embarrassed that I loved but fuck it: 18 Wheeler

its kinda bcum standard gamer challops 2 say but dc really did have an unfuckwithable line-up for the whole 18 months it was on the mkt. and btw on-line standard, vmus, fishing controllers, samba de amigo &c &c sega put mad innovation into the console.

realistically tho no1 can fuk w/the snes for all-time

vmus were pretty strange: I had two of them but never really played any of the games on them and kinda thought wtf at the whole idea

Yeah, at first it's kind of a neat thing to see but it wasn't really utilized at all. Nintendo tried to use a similar idea with the GC/GBA connectivity with horrible results.

i will say that the dreamcast might be my all-time least favorite controller.

I bought it on day one it started selling for $50 (i.e. the day it was discontinued).

The controller sucked but it's been a great toy for my son, who used it as "his xbox" before he was old enough to know better.

crazy taxi mini games, just fucking addictive beyond belief.

I played the hell out of Crazy Taxi to get that S-ranking... I think the bowling minigame made me turn it off for good, though.

My considered verdict: eh is ok

Physics are weird, it feels slow, level design is too reliant on bottonless pits (Casino Street zone is cordially invited to lick me), music is bland and unmemorable, yet still the best the franchise has been in 15 years.

Dimps can make decent Sonic games (see also sonic advance series and sonic rush 1)

It's all over here except for the final boss, and I'll be damned if I can remember a single tune from the soundtrack. Which, considering that the series used to sound like this:
