I have been banned from a thread for the first time ever

Shakey, I started a thread to discuss a particular singer and your immediate response over two threads was as follows:

christ every year there's some new British chanteuse (but only one! we can't handle more than one a year) foisted on the American public make it stop. honestly preferred it when the UK was cranking out electric guitar virtuosos instead of this bullshit

I took that to be extreme and dickish threadjacking (especially following "I love this" as an intro) and I still do but banning you from the thread was entirely too kneejerk of me. dick move to counter dick move is still a dick move.

mea culpa; i apologize and you're unbanned from the thread.

and not to put the twinkie defense to play, but i really needed to get some dinner and step away from the computer at that point; so if y'all can collectively chalk that up to growing pains, I will quit being a jerk
