How would cross-platform games work however? Should it just be an all-encompassing sixth-generation home console best-of (DC, GC, PS2, XBOX)? Or is that too much of a clusterfuck? I think individual ones still makes the most sense, it's crazy when you think about how many games back then were on one console or the other vs. now where almost everything is on both!

I think going system-by-system would make the most sense; sometimes multi-platform games are better on one system than any others (Killer 7 & Beyond Good and Evil on GC come to mind) and would receive the most appropriate number of votes that way.

guys, go for it!I would recommend breaking up the work so you have one person collating votes, organizing the entries and putting them on ilx (i might be willing to do this part; one person pulling ilx commentary, one person pulling youtubes, one person pulling links and one person pulling photos.
