i am torn on whether i should next rewatch season 3, late 6, or 7. what would you do?
― Maria, Monday, 25 January 2010 18:03 (fourteen years ago) link
I'd say 3. 6 is a downer.

Willow had another girlfriend? Have totally forgotten that part, have yet to re-watch Seas 7.

6 is a downer.
Massive understatement. I'd say it's downright depressing. Brilliant, nonetheless.

omg i genuinely cannot watch the end of s2 without crying. its that, anya in 'the body' and the end of Milk- nothing else in this world really makes me cry. but goddamn the end of s2. its just too much.

googling buffy the body was interesting (xp)
― kingkongvsgodzilla, Wednesday, 27 January 2010 13:37 (fourteen years ago) link
P.S. to k3vin k: do not Google "The Body". Seriously. For your own sake. Avoid any mentions anywhere to "The Body" in conjunction with Buffy.

there are quite a few buffy with her mom in s5 episodes that make me cry. pretty much none with angel though.
― Maria, Wednesday, 27 January 2010 14:15 (fourteen years ago) link
ugh buffy's mom is the WORST
xander's grown on me but i'd love it if he didn't crack a joke in EVERY. GODDAMN. TENSE. SITUATION.

Yeah, Buffy's mom will grow on you. Just wait until you get to the episode where she does ___ with _____. Ha ha. Oh, just wait.

Ha ha ha. Yes. The moment when Buffy reveals that she knows about her mom ___-ing _____ is the best ever.

This absolutely made Seasons 4-7 frustrating for me. There was all this long drawn out relationship building and I just kept on being like "Nope, doesn't deserve her, never will". Although as mentioned I was like 16 yo during Seasons 2 and 3 and Sarah Michelle Gellar was v v pretty to me, so it is possible I just refused to accept that anyone was worthy of her (other than possibly me). I am looking at YOU, Freddie Prinze Jr. Basically I did not have a rational relationship with this show most of the time it was on. This probably made it better, though.

Lezzing up in Cruel Intentions > Angel > Riley > That guy she sleeps w/ in s4 > Spike > Scooby Doo > FPJr.

Oh, no no. That's a totally different Spike. He's an assistant professor at her college, introduced in season 4. Lots of laffs and mix-ups when the name 'Spike' gets tossed around and no one knows which Spike is being referred to! Prepare yourself for hilarity.
