I have 5 aunties and 3 aunties through marriage. My mum is very close to her sisters and I always find it strange when people talk about seeing their aunties like once a year, it makes me sad, my aunties are very good to me.

aunts should be there to provide family gossip, there good at it.

mine told me things abt family members I would not here from my parents.

The last aunt I spoke to finished the conversation by saying "Let's go out and get drunk soon," but then she is only 32 and closer to my age than my mothers and I suppose falls more into a cousin type.
