he's back to like pre-killa season rapping and Vado is a tolerable replacement for Juelz...lacks the personality but sounds kinda like him and his flow is good enough and less weirdo than juelz' as to make him kinda just keep things going rather than let the tracks get bogged down when he shows up. production is kinda next level actually, really tight and consistent.

Streaming audio in-thread is cool, but sometimes without any sort of comment at all, or 3+ from one release, it seems like a sort of info dump. Maybe if there was an option to embed at height="25", they wouldn't seem so intrusive/hard to load? Most here don't have videos. Best of both worlds maybe.

but anyway, to make my case, i haven't heard the KNAAN album in like a year, but what i remember, it alternates between softie eclectic Carnival-era wyclef stuff with the occasional total banger sprinkled in between. and dude basically talks very frankly about the very fucked up situations in africa, which is the "black cnn" idea for a internet-connected world to a tee--which is prolly why npr types like him, but it actually works in a way that i don't think is corny at all.
