last 2:00 is my friend strumming during that same session (and I edited in some of my part at a slower pace)

❤ⓛⓞⓥⓔ❤ (CaptainLorax), Sunday, 28 December 2008 20:59 (fifteen years ago) link

What effects did you use? Sounds like a chorus and/or phaser, and a delay. There's quite a bit of hiss, but when I've tried doing something similar I've had the same problem.

snoball, Monday, 29 December 2008 11:41 (fifteen years ago) link

I think the basic pedals - chorus, flanger, reverb, delay, flanger and perhaps phase shifter or hi-gain. I might have been using his wah wah pedal as well. I was quite pleased how it turned out - in a pleasing ambient sound sort of way. Thanks for comments.

Rabies up in punx! I will so regret this, but here's the band I played guitar in (I should be mostly left channel..first thing you hear in the first song, anyhow) before we broke up and we all moved away.

Music was live and sloppy in a basement, recorded for posterity in like a few hours the afternoon before our final show. Vox in post.

And fyi we named the band at the very last moment before our first show. It was something the other guitar player's brother had spray painted in all caps across his skateboard ramp.

So yeah.
