I only found out recently (such is the way the power structures work) that you guys are provisionally booked to play our club, so maybe I'll get to play a few records with you yet! (again depending on the weirdo power games that go on with our night)

I'll explain all sometime! It's great considering I'm only DJing a short time, a good position to be in as a resident at a successful and busy club. But I'm starting to try and get involved in more of my own thing aswell with the guys from the shop, which is exciting too at the moment.

I was at the meeting where we discussed who to book, just not actually in the office or there when the bookings are made!

stirry, for what's it's worth, the Kill The DJ 2CD thing was very good -- even if i dont know how i feel about owning something with depeche mode on it. congrats on a job well done.

Ooh - I never knew this rule. That makes this May Day's Optimo potentially even sweeter. Though the prospect of it being completely rammed because of the bank holiday makes it less so.

tribeca grand parties are almost always free, you just need to get on the guest list the week of the party. i imagine the emails will go out early next week.

yeah. tribeca grand parties are always free, which somewhat offsets the $10 drinks. thanks though! i'll come say hello. i think jdh or maybe it was someone else mentioned having an afterparty at this nearby loft. is teamy going to be in town too?

Lucky you N, my birthday this year falls on Good Friday, the only day in the entire year on which all pubs, clubs, and off licenses in Ireland are closed. disgusting. No clubnight the night before either as a result

you should see an Irish off licence with a half an hour till closing time on the Thursday, it's like a scene from a shopping centre in an armageddon movie.
