matt dc is talking a lot of sense here..

I feel chastened. The plan was to meet at Trafalgar Square and then find a pub, but since I'm being pressed...gosh I really can't think of one that has Sky! Any tips? I'm probably setting out about midday; the prospect of watching Spurs - WHUFC is quite enticing.

ENBB, if you make it into town on Tuesday I'd definitely be up for a reprise! As I suspect would a few others. I'd make sure a pub was set this time.

To repeat: this wasn't so much a FAP as me meeting Nick and wondering if anyone else fancied coming but it's true that I have been lax in the pub-revealing department.

I just look at our USA counterparts fapping like crazy and grow sad that we, inventors of the art, have lost it so comprehensively :(

were you in the band room or the DJ room? i was mostly in a reserved corner of the DJ room, next to the decks, with a party. we popped into the band room only to buy drinks and gawp at how bad the music was

I was in every room trying to figure out where ps & crew were (they were not there, obv).

Actually, at one point I walked by a dude in the 'band room' and thought 'that looks like lj' but being that it was dark and I hadn't seen you for ages I wasn't sure so I didn't ask.

Well, N and I are meeting at the East Dulwich Tavern, which is easily accessible by bus! I'm about to set off, actually.

The pub crawl is still going ahead tomorrow FWIW.

east dulwich is easily accessible by bus if you're accessing it from west dulwich, perhaps.

aarrrgh edt is like 2 min from my house :( why don't these things ever happen when I'm 2 min away instead of a 9 hour flight away?

Well, that was a nice afternoon. Post links to tomorrow's events and I'll be there too! Unless my presence is regarded as bad luck due to some sort of ancient curse.

Couldn't do this afternoon (esp not in Dulwich!) but will prob make it out tomorrow night - never been to Pimlico but at least it's easy (for me) to get to!

am glad that this did not happen btw, we had a pretty vicious family scene that ended up with one dj cousin losing job and two fairly badly scratched faces. no arrests tho so result!

yeah, not east dulwich's finest watering hole by about, umm, all of them. although does have the world's creepiest children's play area out the back.

Haha. I've had some good partisan screaming in the Vale over the years. I watched Spurs 4-4 Villa there. A man started dancing in front of me and screaming when Younes scored.

Then I went home and smashed the kitchen bin with a sledgehammer.

That's what happens when you set foot in the Vale.
