"Ghosts of Christmas Past" is the least Christmassy Christmas album I have - my girlfriend always tells me to change the music within about five tracks.

Love this stuff. Old English carols. (There's a whole series of them, and the first one is my favorite, but all I see on Amazon is this compilation.)

I need to buy this. The video for his cover of "Must Be Santa" is totally classic.

I am more for the Christmas single than the Christmas album. Like to compile different acts doing their act on different Christmas songs, as many originals as possible but then also the occasional trad Christmas song thrown in here and there.

Of course Phil Spector has more or less defined the entire Christmas rock style, so his Christmas album is the one to namecheck if one wants one album from the same source.
