There is a school of thought that the greatness of a film
can be measured (or even determined) by its catch-phrases.
Note dropoff in good catch-phrases in part III.
Its best effort is not enough to save it:
"Every time I thought I was out, they pull me back in!"
A few more like that, and even bare nepotism of Sofia's casting would be forgiven!

"Every time I thought I was out, they pull me back in!"

Pacino read that very much like Rev Jim in "Taxi."

I was always a sucker for that bit on the Soprano's when Steve Van Zandt would do his bizarre impression of that and they would all laugh every single time and say "He sounds just like Pacino!" but now that you say that part about Rev. Jim, maybe he DID sound like Pacino.

Another famous quote from a great epic film is "Sug min kuk, din fucking råtta!" And means "Don´t give in, only youre courage can tell what to do." Så... Sug min kuk, din fucking råtta!

the scene involving this in "She Hate Me" was like the only thing that redeemed the movie.

I thought that this was going to be about lame signatures that you find in e-mails and those other messageboards.

Perhaps followed by a poster using an Abe Vigoda avatar.

My favoriten bad line from the first movie is when Tessio is discussing the Bronx eatery where Michael is to whack Sollozzo and McClusky: "It's perfect for us, a small family place, good food." wtf?

I have Abe on my phone wallpaper, but it's a Barney Miller Thing, not a Godfather one.

The horse-head scene in this movie is still inextricably interspliced with Tom Green shouting "THIS IS A MESSAGE FROM DON CORLEONE!"

...? for you.

Tom Green reenacted the scene with a cow head in his own parents' bed.
