I was in the shower and I got water in my eye and I started thinking, what if my eyeball would fall out? I would scream like hell.

I don't think politics is a specialized enough subject to warrant a niche board, I'd rather have political threads here.

My reasoning behind the poll was that with SNA, people who care about politics can watch the board, while people who don't could easily avoid it by not watching the board. And I think it would be conductive for more inside baseball-type political discussion that might be lost on ILE, or jammed into one of the rolling threads.

And I'm not sure I get some of the above reasoning...I would think that those who voted no because they hate politics would have liked the idea of siphoning off much of the political traffic to a sub-board that can easily be ignored?

I voted against further 'balkanization' - God knows I love politics.

I didn't mean to say that everyone who voted no hates politics...there were just a few comments above I was referring to.
