i also thought about voting for loretta's scars! but i think fame throwa is a little less good than many of these songs.

Sooo, is there any more stuff of Loretta online anywhere? She’s beautiful! AND wearing a track jacket AND mesh shorts? Those are dreams, right there.

"In the Mouth of a Desert"

Never really been a big fan of this album or this band. If you vote for "Chesley's Little Wrists" I don't ever want to talk to you. Ever.

"in the mouth a desert" used to be one of my favs but i've tired of it so much. the best songs are "here" & "summer babe" but "loretta's scars" and "zurich is stained" are right behind

k3vin k., Thursday, 10 December 2009 00:04 (fourteen years ago) link

the last band i was in covered that as our first song together at our first practice at the request of the bass player and me, but the drummer was a death metal drummer and sort of the odd man out, not really familiar with pavement, at all really, so he used all these fast tom fills and double bass blast beats. the song had never sounded worse~

there's a version of that on The Arizona Record too

was just thinking about the Silver Jews the other day cause there was this front page NYT story about shady lobbying groups fighting the minimum wage increase and the main group was owned by Berman's dad that he hates :/

Any door left unlocked.
