I have love for both of these teams, and I hate that the Texans have to perpetually remain the loser. :(

Johnny Fever, Tuesday, 24 November 2009 04:47 (fourteen years ago) link

he just wins

he's just a winner

did you guys see him out there, winning

winning his damn ass off

farting irl (cankles), Tuesday, 24 November 2009 04:53 (fourteen years ago) link

dear analysts: it's ok to say that the texans are soft and kubiak is a bad coach. you don't need to be amazed that they haven't "made the leap."

is kubiak a bad coach? i'd take him in a pinch

farting irl (cankles), Tuesday, 24 November 2009 04:55 (fourteen years ago) link

the texans just dont seem very talented to me

farting irl (cankles), Tuesday, 24 November 2009 04:56 (fourteen years ago) link

it's funny that the texans lost to vince young and the running back who ended up being everything that reggie bush was supposed to be

R.I.P Ronnie Brown wildcat. ;_;

Johnny Fever, Tuesday, 24 November 2009 05:04 (fourteen years ago) link

yeah, could you imagine the dolphins-titans game if brown hadn't gotten hurt? even so i think there's still a chance that will be the funkiest nfl game in a long time.

will.i.ban (J0rdan S.), Tuesday, 24 November 2009 05:05 (fourteen years ago) link

xxxxxxp i guess it depends on how talented you think the texans are--i think they have enough good players to compete but routinely blow games. when that becomes a pattern to me it's a coaching issue.

omaha deserved 311 (call all destroyer), Tuesday, 24 November 2009 05:39 (fourteen years ago) link

well yeah exactly - they're good enough to compete, not good enough to dominate. when you're merely competetive and play a ton of close games, whether or not you pull ahead in those games is one of those things that i consider to be essentially up in the air - that's why i'd be nervous about the bengals (who appear to be pretty good, but not great) if i were a cinci fan right now, they've played NOTHING but close games and are probably a little lucky to have pulled ahead in so many of them. the texans are solid-to-unexceptional in most areas, aside from their handful of star players they have a lot of dudes who are basically just, y'know, guys. if they had better talent they'd be winning more decisively imo.

Clinton Portis, Eli Manning, and Aaron Rodgers would be inducted along with him.

Johnny Fever, Wednesday, 25 April 2012 04:56 (eleven years ago) link

Or does our HOF necessitate being out of the league?

Johnny Fever, Wednesday, 25 April 2012 04:56 (eleven years ago) link

i doubt it?

mookieproof, Wednesday, 25 April 2012 05:10 (eleven years ago) link

I think players that played in the ILNFL era but are now retired.
