I'm seeing rent-stabilized studio on Ocean Pkwy (nr Ditmas) tnite. I have feeling I'm going to be offered it if I like it -- of course, apt that's $225 a month LESS in Midwood is taking forever to get their paperwork together. So if I say no, I'll be taking Door #2, Monty.

Oh, actually, that might be across from the methadone clinic, and if so that might actually be the worst place in that part of Crown Heights to be. I take it all back.

hey, my landlady is threatening to keep my $900 deposit since I gave her 25 days' notice of moving instead of the prescribed 30! FUN.

I can't find my copy of the 'lease', but I don't doubt the 30 days are in there. I'm saved only in she gets a renter for 7/1.
