Happy New Year! I know I have been quiet. I have been writing. Grown-up writing. I am looking for a publisher for a story. In healing, we as a family think we can help others. It might be too soon. Will told me he heard from you and he was deep in thought for 3 days after. I said, "Frank has effect on people." Honestly Frank, I save your words to me and reread often. Thank you so much.

You are obviously in my writing constantly. This whole ordeal means something. It was so spiritual, this journey I am on. God has helped, and when I feel lost, I remember and find strength.

I have so much to tell you. It's exhausting thinking about it. I am going to attach a rough draft of what I am working on in my spare time.

haha thats better than when some iowa little league coach gave out my email address instead of his own & i kept getting parents emailing about their kid's tee ball schedules

For a while I started getting these emails from people wanting to ask about the baseball cards I was selling. They weren't spams and I wa v confused til I did some googling and found out some twit on Craigslist listed some baseball collectors cards for sale and used my email address.

I just ignored them and it stopped after about a week.

I don't like this direction at all.... I do understand the Home Office wanting to have all this completed very systematically and very robotically by everyone every month! BUT - this will lead to less entrepreneurship and the restaurant company on a path of "wait for the Home Office to tell us what to do" and over time this list will grow large and suffocating. Kind of like the labor tool being dropped over and over and over and over... "I get it" but come on already! I think this is all backwards. If a Partner or JVP needs to improve on something or is not doing something they should get the direction needed from the appropriate superior. They should not be given a to do list so that hopefully things run as the HO wants them to run out in the field. There are some great Partners in the company that do not need any help to perform very well for Outback given freedom to do so. Give a leader, hired to lead, a check list of what do to will just frustrate them and cause undo and unneeded stress for them, it will also so change the way they currently operate. Yes - some of us do need pushed to concentrate on the right things at certain times because we have several thing going on ALL of the time. Anyway My OPINION is that it seems like it is harmless and easy and it will make thing better but no matter what cologne you put on it still smells like crap! You know that I will spin this in a positive manner and in the favor of the company to my area. We will also comply to it. But please know that if it were my decision I would not be driving in this direction. This direction will lead to less ideas in the future. Partners will be running to the office to make another check on the list rather than figuring out how to get food to customers without making them come into the restaurant to pick it up. I would be addressing the low performances and performers as I do and many others of us in the field do. I would not be mandating operational policies in this manner.
