bubble screens and quick screens were a good innovation for the nfl but the PENDULUM HAS SWUNG TOO FAR

you can't really run bubble/quick screens when your WRs are not quick and have zero potential to make a guy miss - you might as well just kneel the ball at that point

I think there was a Rex Grossman performance against GB once (last game of 2006, I think) where he threw like 4 INTs and had a rating of 0.0, but he got pulled at halftime. I remember that game because it brought me so much joy.

I was willing to give Mangini time here but last night was pretty much it for me.

yeah i just feel bad for everyone on that team, i can't even rail against the shitty play of the QBs because i feel like a lot of what's wrong with the offense comes right back to mangini.

Since Mangini hired a nobody like Daboll to run the offense it does come back to him. It's hard to figure out what exactly the game plan was last night. It looked like it was built around throwing outside screens all night puncuated by the wildcat.
