How about that "Epil Stop" product a seen on TV? I trim with one of those small electric trimmers and have shaved also

OK, I don't think I've ever laughed so much in my life... Or gone "eww" at certain comments.

Anyway, Mr. Happy has had a little trim, and for me, it does make it look bigger. Now he can don his hat and sunglasses, go out into the big wide world and smile at the girlies.

...Or not.

Seriously, if you're gonna trim it, try to keep it in line with the rest of your body hair. I've done this, and it looks a bit odd, but in a way kinda normal! lol.

I've yet to find out if my girlfriend approves of my penile modification. Anyone have any ideas how it shall be received? With approval or disgust?

My main reason for doing this is because the annoying hairs just irritate me because they occasionally get tangled or caught out the side of my boxers, etc. and I just want to be free of that. If you get what I mean.

I looked at it after I'd given it a haircut, and it did look quite bigger. But if you've ever looked at it in a mirror, from the side, it usually does look bigger from a different angle. Again, if you get what I mean.

Happy stubble rubbing!

OMFG! I was looking up how men should trim their hair and I came up with this. This is the most hilarious thread ever. To all the people who braid their pubic hairs, asshairs, etc. thats sick! Anyways, trimming roxors and you should only shave if you have lice or mental problem(s). Oh, and people who shave to make their penises look bigger have problems too :P Hey wait a min...that would make guys who trim thoughtful...but.......im supposed to be evil..right? D'oh?!

I am a 34 year old married man, I have been shaving my pubic hair for over 5 years now, I started doing it for a laugh to spice up my sex life. It feels really great, looks great and I have never had any itching or burning problems. I shave my back, bum and anus as well as my balls etc. I have used an epilator for around my dick and for my stomach, a little painful but bearable! I have recently atarted trimming my chest hair as well. I like the smooth look. If anyone wants a picture of me then I can oblidge to prove the point! I would definitely classify myself as thoughtful, if it makes sex nicer for me then it will by default be nicer for my wife.

Proof that a nightmare of history has at last been forgotten.

Ned Raggett, Saturday, 3 August 2002 00:00 (twenty-one years ago) link

Well my girlfriend and I have made a deal that if I want her to shave her pubic hair then I have to shave mine, and I just trimmed mine yesterday and she says it looks bigger. I'm not sure I wanna make that big step of losing all my hair though...Not until she does it first anyways. And yes it does look bigger, and definitely more tidy down there.

An update!

I keep myself trimmed with a beard trimmer. Chest, stomach, pubes, and pits. It's turned into one of those things that's hard to stop. I have received NO negative remarks. In fact, I've only gotten positive comments. One person said I looked great either way, which is probably true for everyone. But don't we all get our hair cut and/or colored? Don't most of us exercise? Aren't there myriad things we do to alter our appearance to match our self-image?

Yes, variety is important, but if you like yourself better trimmed, then do it. It is certainly one of the most benign, reversable personal appearance decisions you can make!

c onner - how will you ever make money selling yourself to 50 year olds now that your pubic hair has been deflowered and will grow back harder than copper wire?

Well I trim my pubic hair and shave my dick, balls and ass and my girlfriend loves it. I shaved my balls in collage but had never trimed my pubic area until my g/f sugested it. She used a beard trimmer set to the #6 setting and it makes it very uniform. I am not very hairy so it does not look strange on me. You won't believe how much hair is on the shaft of your dick until you start to shave it. It makes sex feel great! I don't know if I look bigger or not but I know my g/f spends more time down there now. Funny, the yard boy was just saying that if you trim the weeds from around the trunk the tree looks taller! Give it a try!

Vic, Friday, 6 December 2002 02:04 (twenty-one years ago) link

yes, don't ever trim yr balls with the hair clippers on 0 - an under-under cut is not what one is aiming for, normally

Queen G (Queeng), Friday, 6 December 2002 06:28 (twenty-one years ago) link

I never paid much attention to it until I dated a guy that was “well kept” down there. Now if I go down on a guy in it’s a jungle and you need a machete to get to the temple I can tell you I don’t have much interest in staying to worship. I am completely shaved and I don’t think I would want to see a guy bald but nice and tidy is wonderful!

KimKane, Monday, 9 December 2002 14:38 (twenty-one years ago) link

lol, what a wicked post..

shaving pubic hair i think is cool, its one of the many neglected areas about a guys body. i understand the idea of girls liking the manly figure, but its annoying having a load of hair n that all the time..

my view.. trim it to look decent, and out the way, dont let it grow long or it wont pay off with the girls.

JJ Evans, Thursday, 12 December 2002 23:56 (twenty-one years ago) link

But what if I take pills to GROW MY PENIS AN XTRA 10 TO 12 INCHES!!!.... NATURALLY!..

then trimming won't matter.

donut bitch (donut), Friday, 13 December 2002 02:19 (twenty-one years ago) link

But if you trim, then it will look like it grew 17 INCHES. What girl wouldn't want that?

Dan Perry (Dan Perry), Friday, 13 December 2002 14:57 (twenty-one years ago) link

I recently had mine permed. I got the Mike Brady look going on the old beanbag.

Just because you allegedly look like Long Dong Silver doesn't mean you should think like him.

man o man, took me like a half hour to read all this, but i have to say, amusing or wha? *lol*

and like ragget said, length isn't everything. personally, i'd rather have a guy who was just a lil above average, not ginormous.

and somewhere it was mentioned bout nads... well. i've never tried it out on the nether regions, but i've done the regular old leg thing and it hurts just as much as waxing.. the good thing bout it though... you can eat it! you know that? how neat eh?

hmm, and i have to say, i found this thread cause i was looking fer some advice on pube shaving, i've shaved before but it was just the old razor way and its not cool having to do it every day, bah and stubble is horrid, for me as well as for him...

and, though i've never had, i think that shaved balls would be awesome! they're my fav part on a guy and the hair in the mouth is a bit nasty sometimes. just trimming the rest of it, or going au natural would be fine by me though.. i don't mind a bit of hair... but, no braiding pls. *laugh*

Kawaii KoNeko, Friday, 3 January 2003 20:49 (twenty-one years ago) link

The Acceptance That it's OK To Be Cruel to the People on "The Google Threads": Classic or Dud?

dwh (dwh), Friday, 3 January 2003 21:44 (twenty-one years ago) link

'Acceptance', obv.

dwh (dwh), Friday, 3 January 2003 21:44 (twenty-one years ago) link

No one's being cruel! "Nod and smile" is a pretty standard response from me in the face of something I find baffling.

Dan Perry (Dan Perry), Friday, 3 January 2003 21:46 (twenty-one years ago) link

Oh, I know, Dan, I was being light-hearted, by saying 'cruel' I meant there's this general slight-ache feeling on the "Google threads" that the people who pop up will only stay for that message and a preceding few messages on the thread, which is generally true, but maybe they would stay if.

dwh (dwh), Friday, 3 January 2003 21:52 (twenty-one years ago) link

It was me who was being 'cruel', kinda.

dwh (dwh), Friday, 3 January 2003 21:53 (twenty-one years ago) link

Obnoxious, at least.
