I completely agree! What I'm saying is that no one convinced by the song (if such a person exists - that's not at all certain, I think) is going to be convinced by the Obama campaign's disavowal.

Sure. It's a bit more of a stretch, but I also doubt that anyone convinced by the argument "don't vote for Obama - that nasty rapper likes him" would have voted for him in the first place.
