Oldies question: didn't the Marcels or somebody do an answer song to "Mr. Bassman" called "Follow The Leader" in which the disheartened bass singer says "What about what I sing?"

I thought this thread was going to be about bass that really sings, like when you hit that perfect high fretless note and hold it, resulting in that sweet, sweet mwaah.
