i think green tea is pretty caffeinated, but white has less?

Peepoop Patel (harbl), Monday, 2 November 2009 03:23 (fourteen years ago) link

green is not too caffeinated, black teas are the most caffeinated

囧 (dyao), Monday, 2 November 2009 03:23 (fourteen years ago) link

i brewed some jasmine green with a bag of tulsi sweet rose but then i poured some and left the bags in the bigger cup for a while by accident, so i've been using it as a concentrate and adding hot water to smaller amounts of the strong stuff. i guess it still works out to 1 tea bag of green, but steeped a long time. anyway, not coffee, but i am a bad sleeper :(

tehresa, Monday, 2 November 2009 03:25 (fourteen years ago) link

i am america's best sleeper except not tonight

囧 (dyao), Sunday, 15 November 2009 00:54 (fourteen years ago) link

really? i want to like it but it's too light and acidic to me.

harbl, Sunday, 15 November 2009 01:20 (fourteen years ago) link

it's bright but I find it's a good balance between the acidity of an south american bean and the darkness of an indonesian bean

囧 (dyao), Sunday, 15 November 2009 01:25 (fourteen years ago) link

i think i just like the name of it. i am pretty much a dark roast only coffeeer

harbl, Sunday, 15 November 2009 01:26 (fourteen years ago) link

Description
This coffee combines the smoky, deep flavor of an Italian Roast with the rich earthiness of the Guatemalan bean. Together, they create a bold, full-bodied cup with a dark complexity that would surely have pleased Mr. Poe himself. The perfect coffee for chasing off the chills of a cool fall evening. (And for those times when it's a bit warmer--it makes for a great iced coffee!)

harbl, Sunday, 15 November 2009 01:28 (fourteen years ago) link

if it's good enough 4 poe it's good enough 4 me

harbl, Sunday, 15 November 2009 01:28 (fourteen years ago) link

coffee is a good metaphor for the darkness of poes soul imo

I got an Aeropress for christmas and have already had like 5 cups in the past 24 hours. This thing is amazing and I wonder if I'm ever going to use the french press again. In addition to tasting great the coffee's done ten times faster and cleaning is a thousand times easier.
