It's sometimes funny though. The first issue takes place over about fifty seconds, so if you're going in looking for "plot" then you're in the wrong place. But the way Darrow paces those fifty seconds is very amusing, and if Joe is "knocked out by the art and visual concepts", then I figure that's all you should really expect from a Geof Darrow comic anyway.

Lovely pretty pictures (no surprise there), pointless story (also no surprise). No sane person would buy this expecting decent writing, would they?

Have you noticed that the donkey's rants are written by the Warchowski Brothers? It probably goes some way towards explaining a-hell-of-a-lot of what went wrong with the last two Matrix movies

Awesome, psychotic visual imagery and staging. Writing is fairly meh with moments of sparkly absurdity. Comes out infrequently enough for me to justify the cover price.
