Nirvana's anti-pop snobbery... please. Nirvana gave Axel Rose a hard time because they were joking around before the Music Awards and Cobain asked Axel Rose if he could have his baby. Instead of just laughing or saying something sarcastic, Axel Rose goes over like a neanderthal man and starts poking Cobain in the chest threatening to kick his ass.
Tell me how Axel and Cobain are alike again? I think Axel enjoys the life that fame brought him while all Kurt wanted was enough money to by more intoxicants and vinyl records. And I think the biggest beef Kurt ever has with his fans is that when "Smells Like Teen Spirit" became huge, he suddenly had a fan base of the same kind of jock metalheads that used to call him a faggot in high school and beat the shit out of him.
