The competition is ultra-fierce, but in the end it has to be "Thinking of You" - the chukka-chukka intro that Orange Juice fans can get, the swoony two-note strings, the subtle way the drums come in and that velvety voice swooping over that tune and those words. LOVELY !

Wyatt's version is surprisingly good. I find his voice is of an aquired taste but I feel that he brings a poignancy to the song through his beliefs and devotion to the causes he supports.

Well, I dunno. The point is Nile Rodgers (sometimes with Bernard Edwards) did a lot of brilliant production work for other acts in the mid 80s, but I still feel those are not works of the Chic organisasion the way the Chic/Sister Sledge ones and the "Diana" album are. Amongst other things because Rodgers/Edwards didn't write the actual songs for Bowie/Duran Duran/Madonna/Thompson Twins/whoever.
