Filming Othello

Don't know how to find the old thread anyway, but someone expressed an interest in Filming Othello. I should be getting a copy in the week.

No luck on finding an Elusive Someone who recorded the 1982 BBC broadcast of said film, though. Where do you start? Where do you look? I failed my detective exam.

Am expecting a bunch of other interesting OW items from various sources. I must put a list up on my site...

I bet the person expressing interest was me. I have a few rare-ish items if you are interested in a trade, though sadly none of it is Welles-related.

Anyway, is this article true?

It might be! They've been saying something similar every few months for several years now.

E-mail me with what you have. I'm doing a lot of mailing at the moment, so what the hell!

I'll do so when I get to my home computer after work tonight.

three months pass...
Update on the above: thanks to ILF, I finally managed to get hold of a copy of the '82 BBC2 broadcast of Othello! Good quality, too.

Now I'm waiting for this rather good Criterion release of Mr. Arkadin...
