still on the fence - seems to adopt some kind of 'serious' approach to style - but then again the piece in the last issue on that Iranian-American trustfund baby in Moscow was ridiculous.

their website has a 'daily recommendation' now. they recommended patrick cowley earlier in the week!

First flowering of this friendship can be seen by watching the video for SUGAR KANE, which features a fashion show by MARC JACOBS at PERRY ELLIS, the label for which he created the infamous grunge collection which got him the sack, but which solidified his reputation. It is best to watch this video in full screen, as otherwise the image is a touch small.

that cover is pretty horrible but then it is by J Teller, whose work i dislike quite a lot. i don't like that the masthead isn't against white.

yeah i think FANTASTIC MAN has kinda lost it. the fashion is really dull, guys wearing expensive grey and black clothes and the quirkiness has become divorced from any kind of reality re. actual clothing, which would be fine if it was still sexy or funny. kudos on getting raf simons to be photographed and appear on a cover though. this issue at least is better than the deadly dull previous one with david fucking beckham on the cover.

on the other hand the gentlewoman is totally great. this issue and the last are lovely and amazing.

total shite now. but i did lol once.

actually the "men of great britiain" thing was good eye candy and i enjoyed the fact that the scottish men were by far the hottest. also full 10 page spread modelled by my first bf was o_O.
