TS: Silver Screen (Shower Scene) vs. Machine Says Yes

Owing to as how I really like Machine Says Yes (y song) but find myself incapable of posting to the other thread about it due to my incapability of talking coherently about dance music ("I say, that bassline's rather pumping, isn't it? Monster!"), I have decided in my student journo manner to instead make a simplistic comparison.

Both these records are electric things with strange foreign women going "Purr" over the top of them. Which is better? Why?

Silver Screen Shower scene.

It's that massive piercing fuckin glass breaking snare type noise that goes through the whole song. I mean it's just the most visceral fucking thing and yet it's so groovy. It's just this relentless, concentrated grind and then Miss Kittin's vocals just pause it momentarily before it all just erupts again. The key is the massive "KCCCCCH!" flash snare noise.

It's the type of song that makes me feel I don't have enough limbs or that the physical capabilities of the human body are pathetic and nowhere near extensive enough to enable me to react the way I want to to this song.

God I love it. ("I say that bassline's rather pumping isn't it? Monster!" sounds great to me!)

Can I copy and paste that second paragraph into all my reviews from now on.

I nevah heard Machine Says yes but by Bright Mornig White i can say almost anything should be better than FC Kahuna, even a song with Miss Kittin

it might well be all them things, but my brane repeats'..the handbrake penetrates your thigh, quick lets make love...' everytime I listen to it - speaking of which, what s the TG song that 'emerge' references?
