World Domination Enterprises & Terminal Cheesecake: c/d?

As in the bands -- as far as their grossly overlooked influence on a slew of sludgy sinister rock a la Cop Shoot Cop, and other bent rock from the Boner records staple (like Star Pimp, Duh, Shiny Beast, Superconductor, etc.).

I have that WDE LP with the cheap, grey cardboard sleeve with one side studio and one side live. At the time it came out, I thought the live side would be the perfect thing to play after hearing the "4 minute warning". Naturally, I never play it now.

Actually, does anyone here have Terminal Cheesecake's "Valium Chicken Leg"? I've heard some polarized reviews on this here record, and wanted to hear more opinions.

Search: world dom "Asbestos Lead Asbestos", esp if accompanied by the rad clip from "Snub TV" ~~ "All these kids shouldn't be going out to gigs, having a good time, they should be at home, watching detergent commercials"

brian: i got catalogue clothes 12" with the poster cover. maybe i could be persuaded to mail it to you........

i played funkytown out the other week and a bloke from bristol came up to me and enthused. apparently he promoted them back in the days and it was one of the best gigs he's ever been to. but he went on to inform me that the singer died. can anyone offer more info? it make me sad..

The singer didn't die (at least I don't think so)

Last internet reference has him presenting the film "Hotsy Girl" at a kensington film festival.

If anyone wants a surprise, search out the "Lets get professional" album by the 012, it's World Dom before the name change. Early versions of "Asbestos Lead Asbestos" and "Funky Town".

Terminal Cheesecake "comeback" gig tonight in London was strangely enjoyable. Close your eyes and it was like the last 20 years hadn't happened, open them and realise that they had, and then some.

Ah, it was this thread that had Keith as having died.

He did not. Still alive.
